   "Stop Contacting Me about This Debt" - Letter to Creditors - Do it Yourself (Separate Website)
If you want creditors to stop calling or sending letters about a debt, this free, simple program can help you write a letter to tell them to stop. They have to obey the letter - but they MAY still sue you. Also, this does not work for all types of debt.

These letters are examples of what you could write to a debt collector to ask them to stop contacting you. It is important to put them in your own words and keep a copy of the letter you send. If possible, send the letter by certified mail with a return receipt requested, so you will know the debt collector got it.
