Clinic Information:

How the Clinic Works

  • Clients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis, as capacity allows. Clients must be present to give consent for a third party to talk with legal clinic staff.

  • Clients are admitted one at a time to protect privacy.

  • If you join before 4:30 PM, you will be admitted into the clinic but a consult is not guaranteed.

  • You will first check in with staff, then meet privately with intake staff, and finally speak with an attorney if one is available.

  • You may be asked to wait in a virtual waiting room before each step.

Privacy & Technology

  • Please join from a private location if possible.

  • Keep your microphone muted and camera off unless staff ask you to turn them on. Please be aware that you will need to turn on your camera for the legal clinic.

If the clinic reaches capacity, staff will provide information about future clinics or other available resources.
