What is conciliation court?
Conciliation court is a low cost informal court that can help you get back small amounts of money. You don’t need a lawyer in conciliation court. Conciliation court can't help you get back lost or damaged property.
There is a limit to how much you can get at conciliation court. If you want to get back more than $15,000 you will need to file in District Court.
