Demand for Payment Letter

This letter helps you create a demand for payment letter to demand payment from someone that owes you money who has not paid you. This letter says they must pay you the money they owe.

Sending a demand letter is usually a good step to take before filing a Conciliation Court case. For more information, see the Conciliation Court fact sheet.

You will need certain information to finish the interview. Some is basic, like your name and address. Other information includes:

• The name and address of the person or business that owes you money
• An estimated date of when they started owing you money
• The amount owed
